Don't Kiss And For Sure Not Lick This Frog
The US National Park Service has warned visitors not to lick the Sonoran Desert Toad. It's also known as the Colorado River toad. The toad excretes a toxin that will hurt humans. It is also known to have psychedelic effects.
The service warned people in a Facebook post to "refrain from licking" the amphibians, which can be as big as seven inches and have "glowing eyes.".
According to the Oakland Zoo, some people have taken advantage of the toad's toxin as a psyched ic, smoking it to experience hallucinations and euphoria.
