Woman Arrested for Trying to Rob Bank with Banana
A woman in Florida was arrested on Tuesday for trying to rob a bank with a banana.
The woman, entered the bank and approached a teller. She then handed the teller a note demanding money, but the note was written in crayon and the woman was unable to speak clearly.
The teller realized that the woman was not actually holding a gun, and she called the police. The woman was arrested without incident and charged with attempted robbery.
Police said that the woman is a transient and that she was apparently under the influence of drugs at the time of the robbery. She is being held in the county jail without bond.
This is not the first time that a banana has been used in a robbery attempt. In 2019, a man in the UK was arrested for trying to rob a bank with a banana that he had wrapped in a plastic bag. And in 2017, a woman in Israel was arrested for trying to rob a bank with an avocado that she claimed was a live grenade.
This story goes to show that sometimes fruit can be bad for your health, or rather your future.
