 Even though I was always entrepreneurial, I wasn’t always on the path to owning a business. See I grew up in a small town in southern California called Lancaster. In Lancaster, there was a church campus where I basically spent my entire childhood, and in an effort to tell you that I’m not exaggerating, I graduated from kindergarten, 8th grade, high school, and college all on the same campus, which is also the campus that my church was on where I went three times a week. I wouldn’t call it a cult or anything, but it was a lot like growing up in a bubble. 

 Because of that, I ended up graduating from Bible college with a double major in Bible and Church Ministries. But by the time I graduated, I realized that wasn’t the path that I wanted to follow so I was sort of back to square one. 

Searching for Answers 

That’s when I entered a frustrating phase of my life. I was lost, clueless, jobless, and frustrated trying to figure out what I was going to do with my life and career. My degree was worthless and the one thing I knew how to do, I didn’t want to do anymore. No one would hire me. No one would give me a shot, and I was getting anxious to figure something out. 

 That was the first time in my life I dove into self development. I started consuming books, audiobooks, youtube, and finally discovered podcasts. And after listening to a ton of them, I came to the conclusion that podcasting would be the next thing for me. 

 The problem at that point was that I had no idea how to podcast let alone how to make money podcasting to the degree that I could do it full time. But if door to door taught me anything, it’s that if you have a goal in mind that you really want, you just have to be persistent until you figure it out. And if someone else has already figured it out, all you really need to do is get around those people. 

 It’s been a wild few years over here, so whether you’re a listener of I Never Talk about This, a student in one of our trainings, or a Guestio user, I genuinely appreciate you, and I’d love to hear from you.
