Anita Baker Breaking A 30 Year Tour Hiatus in 2023
Anita Baker's return to the stage after 30 years is a momentous event for music fans of all ages. The singer has announced a series of comeback concerts, set to take place this summer. At a press conference on Tuesday, Baker said that she was "very excited" about her return to the stage. "This is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time," she said.

Baker's hiatus from the music industry began in 1986, the year she released her third album, Rapture. Since then, the singer has focused on raising her children and developing her career as a painter. In announcing her return to the stage, Baker said that she had been inspired by her children. "They've been very supportive of me and my endeavors," she said. "I think it's time for me to give them something back."

While Baker's return to the stage is certainly momentous, it is also somewhat bittersweet. The singer has never formally retired from music, but with this latest announcement, it seems increasingly likely that her comeback concerts will be her last performances. Fans of all ages will undoubtedly be eager to see Baker perform live one final time.
