K-Pop sensation BLACKPINK is making history as the girl group has become the first K-Pop artist to hit 1 billion views on YouTube with their music video, 'Ddu-Du Ddu-Du.' According to Guinness World Records, the achievement marks a new record for "most viewed music video online in 24 hours.

K-pop superstars BLACKPINK have made history as the most streamed female band on Spotify. With over 28 million monthly listeners, BLACKPINK has eclipsed their closest rival, Taylor Swift, and become the most popular female band on the platform.

The Seoul-based quartet, comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, first gained widespread attention with the release of their hit single "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du," which earned them a Guinness World Record for having the most viewed music video on YouTube within 24 hours.
