USA News 2023 Music Bet Is On Hana Giraldo
Hana, thank you for sharing your valuable time with us. We are so excited to dive in with our readers on the latest personal and professional happenings in the life of Hana Giraldo.
First off, you are such an incredibly talented individual. We can never get enough of your quirky and funny side. You are an established hit singer, music writer, and remixer—an accomplished actress in videos, shows, and movies. You are an entrepreneur and businesswoman with global fashion brands. But probably the most amazing thing about you, with all of your talent, success, and famous family line, is that you don't exude a larger-than-life ego that most people would be touting.
So how do you manage to remain friendly, humble, and approachable in such a self-serving, egotistical world? And I know that's a key reason why many of us like you so much.
"Well, that made my day; y’all are so kind! Well, first off, I’d like to thank you for having me. And thank you to each and every one of the fans who have traveled this wild, amazing journey with me, and welcome to any newcomers…. I can tell you one thing, respect and kindness is my motto! Don’t sweat the small stuff; it’s not worth it. You’ll never be able to get back time, so move forward with all you’ve got and live in the now. There’s true beauty in being present.
In this crazy world we live in; it's refreshing to be kind!
Instead of focusing on negativity, look for positivity and help others find it too. Make people smile.
I think it has to do with my childhood. I was badly bullied and treated like I didn’t matter. But my family always taught me “ To value myself. Be strong but kind, gracious, and humble. That will take you far!
And through my music and comedy, I could find happiness and share that joy with others."
We will not dive into the past with you as that is so News 1.0. What we want to do today is find out what Hana Giraldo is doing at this very moment.
"At the moment, I'm working on my album! I'm so excited to show you guys, and it’s been so much fun! It should be out there in a few months.
A lot of fun projects with people I’m so inspired by. I’m truly blessed."
Let's start with your music. We all know you are an accomplished music writer. Is it a passion?
"One hundred percent a passion! I can’t help it, it’s in my blood! I love it. It’s very therapeutic and cathartic. It’s a therapy session sometimes. I just spill out all the inner feelings I have into a song. My main goal is to make music that people can relate to. We’ve all been in love, been happy, been hurt, and felt overwhelmed sometimes. We all have struggles. We’re not that different, even though our circumstances and our stories are. I’m hoping to touch that part of us that’s the same. I‘m hoping they find something that speaks to them in my lyrics.
And I definitely have a different style of my own, and I’m excited for you to hear it!"
Does it come naturally, or is there a process?
"Hmmm…Yes and no. I believe anyone is capable of anything if they really, really want it! As a musician myself, I would say we all have our own process! I do have a formula; I like to start with getting the track made first. I usually sit with the producer, create the track, and then lay down melodies. Usually, as soon as I hear a beat, I instantly GET what the song's Title or concept is. The words come last for me, inspired by the music. "
What is your inspiration for writing and performing music?
"My inspiration for writing music is to give people a little more insight into who I am and, in turn, who they may be. I think with apps like Instagram etc., people are portrayed not as fully realized human beings. That’s not the purpose of the app. So, it's nice that I can use music to show what I believe in and how I feel. And hopefully, I can be as inspiring to others as my mother and father are.
And, of course, some of my biggest idols, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé."
You write music and then add life to it with your voice, musicians, and instruments. Tell us about that process: the fun part, the difficult part, and the end results.
"The most difficult part for me, I would say, is working when u feel like I do and feel defeated at times, but the show must go on!"
For 2023 can you share any details about new music or video releases, shows, and performances?
Hana, you are incredibly introspective, which is a rare trait. Can you share with us some additional pearls of wisdom in life and business?
"I think the most important thing about this field is knowing your brand and sticking to it! Be authentic, don’t try to be someone else, never settle for good be great! F the haters, and don’t give up! If there’s one thing I know is I’m so grateful to be even given a chance to make content people actually care about! It’s important to be YOU! Not your idol or someone else, be YOU! It’s impossible to be someone else. Love yourself, and people will feel that, and hopefully, it will inspire them to love themselves. Also, support each other. Damn it! I wish people would understand we need each other! Collabs are key!
I would say branding is probably one of the most important components of being in this industry! When I say Brand, I mean ( ask yourself who are you? What do you want to say ?) it’s not easy, but it’s doable! People don’t realize it’s not something you manufacture; it’s something that you’re born with! It’s wired in you! You’re amazing; own it! Once you find that little niche, just stick with it! Be consistent. It’s all about finding that’s a signature trademark, that “wow” factor. There’s only one you. You will never be somebody else. So stick to what you know and what you’re good at, and you will succeed. Heck, I’m still trying to figure out exactly what my brand is. Take your time, and be your authentic self. No one is perfect, so let that go immediately! Work hard, be true, and it will become almost muscle memory! Just believe in yourself, and people will follow.
Just want to say I love my fans more than they know! I want you guys to know I'm listening. We all have shit. Excuse my French, most people are better at hiding it. We all have our days. Nobody's perfect. I was bullied as a kid, so I know what it feels like to be unwanted or feel unimportant. But I'm so grateful and thankful that it happened to me at a young age. I wanna help people. I love sharing my experiences and offering advice. I want to be an ally and aspire to be a role model."
Hana Giraldo, you are a wonderful soul and make a fine role model! You are as beautiful inside as you are out. Thank you for visiting with us and sharing your wisdom. It's been a pleasure.
