Abuja, Nigeria –March 07, 2025 - The Federal Government of Nigeria has responded to recent statements made by Tigran Gambaryan, a senior executive at Binance, regarding legal matters concerning the company’s operations in the country. Officials have refuted the allegations, emphasizing Nigeria’s commitment to due process, transparency, and a fair business environment for all investors.
Gambaryan recently claimed that Binance and its executives have faced undue legal scrutiny in Nigeria, raising concerns about the regulatory landscape. In response, Nigerian authorities maintain that all legal actions are conducted in accordance with established legal frameworks and that any individual or entity operating in Nigeria must adhere to the country’s laws.
A government spokesperson stated, “Nigeria remains committed to fostering an open and transparent business environment. All legal and regulatory measures are guided by due process, and any concerns raised by investors will be addressed through appropriate channels.” Officials reiterated that the country continues to attract significant foreign investment due to its stable and growing economy.
The government reaffirmed its willingness to engage with Binance and other stakeholders to address any legitimate concerns. However, it urged all parties to ensure that public statements accurately reflect ongoing discussions and legal proceedings to prevent the spread of misinformation.
Nigeria remains dedicated to upholding the rule of law and maintaining a welcoming environment for both local and international businesses.
