Japan Shocks Germany In World Cup 2022 Group E Match Win
Japan pulled off a 2-1 victory over Germany in their final World Cup warm-up match before the start of the tournament. Germany took an early lead after Ilkay Gundogan converted a penalty in the 33rd minute, but Ritsu Doan equalized for Japan in the 75th minute. Takuma Asano then scored eight minutes later to give Japan the win.
