From Lived Experience to Global Impact: Co-Authors Wanted for Fortified by Hope

Some stories begin with a victory. Others begin in moments when everything feels uncertain.

Fortified by Hope is being created for the latter.

Markey Writing Academy is inviting writers and first time authors from around the world to contribute to an international anthology built around lived experiences of adversity, transformation, courage, and resilience. The project offers contributors an opportunity to turn personal experiences into stories that may encourage, connect with, and offer perspective to others.

The anthology is scheduled to launch in London during the Beacon of Hope Mission Awards 2027, bringing together individual voices within an international literary project centered on the many ways people discover and hold on to hope.

Stories That Begin With Real Life

Every person carries experiences that shape how they understand the world. Some experiences become milestones, while others remain private chapters that are rarely shared beyond family, friends, or close communities.

Fortified by Hope creates a space for contributors to explore those chapters through writing.

The anthology welcomes stories from people who have faced adversity, navigated major challenges, survived difficult circumstances, or experienced personal transformation.
