LOS ANGELES, Feb. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — After years of building an underground following, country-rap sensation Good Ol’ Boyz are kicking off 2025 with the release of their brand-new single, “Tell Her I’m Gone,” dropping on February 28, 2025. The track will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music. EKC PR, a full-service Branding, Marketing, and Public Relations firm, is proudly representing the group as they continue their rise in the music industry.

Infused with Southern grit and hip-hop swagger, “Tell Her I’m Gone” is an upbeat, honky-tonk-meets-808 anthem that tells the all-too-familiar story of a hardworking man sneaking in one last drink before heading home—except his wife is already onto him. Featuring the smooth, soulful vocals of Matt MF Borden, the track delivers a hilarious and relatable take on late nights, loyal bartenders, and the fine art of dodging trouble.

Hardly newcomers to the country-rap scene, Good Ol’ Boyz have been blending backroad anthems with hip-hop beats for over a decade. Their breakout hit, “Country to the City,” has seen a massive resurgence, racking up 33 million YouTube views and 10 million Spotify streams as a new generation of fans embrace their signature sound.

"We’ve always written about real life—the good, the bad, and the hilarious," says JB Weld of Good Ol’ Boyz. “‘Tell Her I’m Gone’ is for every guy who’s texted ‘on my way’ but still had a beer in his hand.”

The West Coast-based duo are gearing up for an exciting year ahead, with their highly anticipated album, Sutter’s Mill, set for release on April 25, 2025, and their next single, “All Gas, No Brakes,” dropping on March 28, 2025 alongside an official music video.

Be sure to watch the official music video for “Tell Her I’m Gone”, releasing tomorrow.
