Growing up in Pensacola, Snow attended the Health Academy magnet program at Pensacola High School, graduated with honors, earned more than 150 college scholarship offers, including Harvard and Stanford, and was named Ms. Florida Basketball. At the University of Tennessee, she helped win four SEC Championships and reach two Final Fours before being selected tenth overall in the 2002 WNBA Draft. She became a two-time WNBA All-Star, WNBA Most Improved Player, and Florida Sports Hall of Fame inductee. She is also widely credited as the first woman to dunk in a nationally televised basketball game and the third woman in NCAA history to dunk in a college game, accomplishing the feat three times, and later became the second player to dunk in a WNBA All-Star Game, in 2006.
