Princess-Anne Emeka-Obiajunwa Unveils Bold Framework to Revolutionize Gender Equity in Leadership
Mar 30, 2025
Princess-Anne Emeka-Obiajunwa, a globally recognized leadership expert, speaker and transformational trainer, is at the forefront of bridging the gender gap in leadership through her groundbreaking initiatives at SheLeadership. With over a decade of experience in education, management and strategic leadership, Princess has developed the SheLeadership Framework™, a transformative model designed to equip women and girls with the necessary skills, strategy and confidence to lead across various sectors including government, education, technology and business.
The SheLeadership Framework™ is a culturally intelligent, gender-aware leadership model created to equip women, especially those in traditional, patriarchal or under-resourced environments, to lead intentionally, effectively and sustainably. It centres leadership development around the lived realities of women navigating cultural expectations, religious structures, systemic barriers and social invisibility that often make leadership feel out of reach.
"Many leadership models are built for environments where the rules are fair and everyone has a seat at the table,” says Princess-Anne. “But many women are navigating cultures where leadership is decided behind closed doors, where access depends on who you know, and showing up confidently can still be seen as a threat. This framework gives us the strategy to lead in those exact conditions."
BoldMoves, SheLeadership’s flagship programme, offers women aged 18 to 45 a focused path to leadership clarity, cultural intelligence and strategy through the SheLeadership Framework™, that positions them to help close the gender gap in their field. The six-week online experience is now open to applicants from OECD recognised developing countries and is fully accessible through the SheLeadership website. Participants also stand a chance to receive grants and other recognition awards by either submitting a proposal outlining how they intend to lead in their sector, or by providing proof of how they are currently leading—whether through a project, initiative, professional role or community work. Selection will be based on demonstrated impact and alignment with SheLeadership’s mission to empower women leaders in underrepresented spaces.
Princess-Anne is also the founder of the Birthplace Empowerment Foundation, an organisation that has transformed the lives of thousands of individuals and empowered underserved communities in Nigeria. Princess-Anne’s extensive experience has earned her recognition as a leader and changemaker, positioning her as an authority in women’s leadership. She has authored 11 books exploring the intersection of faith, personal development, leadership and social change, and has trained many through her programmes, outreach and global speaking platforms.
