A Journey From Pain to Healing
Life’s most profound pain can be a gateway to profound healing, but only if we are brave enough to walk through it.
Raised in a home that lacked the tools to process grief, she understands intimately what it means to suffer silently and navigate sorrow without adequate support. For Janice Leonetti, a coach dedicated to guiding individuals through emotional and spiritual restoration, this journey started in the painful valleys of her own life. By the time she was 22, she had experienced the overwhelming loss of both her parents. The silence that followed wasn't just grief, it was the disorienting realization that she was now navigating life without the people who had shaped her world. It was these very challenges that set her on a path of inner healing, an approach she now offers to others in need of restoration.
The Foundations of Janice’s Healing Journey
Janice’s story is one of resilience, faith, and transformation. As a young woman, she faced the devastating loss of both of her parents, and in the years that followed, life dealt her more heavy blows: a divorce, depression, walking through 3 close family members end of life with her family, and multiple traumatic life events with various close family members that contributed to the erosion of her sense of self and purpose.
"I've gone through literally decades of really hard circumstances in my own life and in the lives of others," Janice reflects. Yet through each season of hardship, she began noticing something profound: God consistently provided resources, people, and pathways forward at precisely the right moments. These encounters became anchors in her healing journey, transforming what felt like broken pieces into a deeper story of restoration and grace.
Divine Interventions Along the Way
Her journey of recovery began with small moments of divine interventions. From a kind word at the right time to an unexpected encounter that offered hope, Janice learned that even in her darkest moments, God’s presence was there, guiding her toward restoration. These moments became her anchors, the touchstones that kept her connected to hope when everything else seemed lost.
Through this experience, Janice developed an intimate understanding of the importance of holistic healing; spiritually, emotionally (soul/mind), and physically (body). In the midst of her own pain, she found solace in the inner healing process, which allowed her to reconnect with God and herself. She realized that healing is not about “fixing” what’s broken, but about gently uncovering the wounds, beliefs, and cycles that prevent us from moving forward. It’s about opening space for God’s healing touch, which, in her experience, provides lasting transformation.
Turning Pain Into Purpose: The Birth of Janice’s Coaching Practice
This philosophy became the cornerstone of Janice’s coaching practice. With a deep love for people and a heart full of compassion, Janice embarked on a mission to help others find healing through the same process that had healed her. Through her work as a coach, she now provides a safe, nurturing environment for individuals to confront their pain, reconnect with God, and experience the freedom that comes from true inner healing.
Janice’s qualifications and training have uniquely positioned her to guide others. She completed the SOZO and Advanced SOZO teachings, along with a two-year apprenticeship, which focused on inner healing and deliverance. She has also participated in various local programs, such as the Clackamas County Peer Support Specialists training and volunteer training with the City of Beaverton, and additionally, her recent training through the Oregon Department of Corrections which has enabled her to serve in a local women's prison ministry. Her experiences, both personal and professional, have equipped her with the insight, wisdom, and compassion necessary to support others in their own healing journeys.
A Unique Approach: Healing Through Connection
What sets Janice apart in the crowded field of personal development and spiritual guidance is her understanding that true healing often requires more than conventional methods can provide.
Janice has identified common patterns among those seeking deeper healing. Many clients come feeling trapped in cycles of anxiety, depression, or unhealthy behaviors. They've often tried traditional counseling, medication, or willpower-based approaches with limited success. What they discover in inner healing sessions is that spiritual and emotional blocks often have roots that require a different kind of attention.
"This is NOT counseling," Janice clarifies about her approach. "It's a gentle, yet powerful time for inner healing and deliverance." Her sessions, which typically last approximately two hours, guide clients through a process of connecting directly with God. Rather than someone telling them what's wrong or what they need to do, clients learn to hear directly from the Holy Spirit about lies they are believing, wounds that need healing, and people they need to forgive.
Her sessions aren't about fixing people; they're about helping individuals reconnect with the truth that they were never broken in God's eyes, just bound by things He wants to set them free from.

The Transformative Impact of Inner Healing
The results speak for themselves. Janice’s clients often leave her sessions feeling lighter, as though something heavy has been lifted from their hearts. They discover truths about themselves and their relationship with God that they never knew before, leading to profound shifts in their lives. For some, it’s the first time they hear God’s voice or find the courage to forgive someone they thought they never could. Others experience freedom from triggers that have controlled their lives for years.
The Path Forward
For those wondering if inner healing might be right for them, Janice offers simple questions for self-reflection: Do I feel distant from God or numb spiritually? Are there patterns in my life I can't seem to break? Do I struggle to trust, forgive, or feel peace? Is there a painful memory I try to avoid? Do I feel emotionally triggered more often than I'd like? If you find yourself nodding yes to any of these questions, Janice's work might offer the breakthrough you've been seeking.
In a culture that often emphasizes quick fixes and surface-level solutions, she provides something increasingly rare: the time and space for deep, authentic healing that addresses root causes rather than symptoms. Through her compassionate approach to inner healing, she guides others in rediscovering their true selves, healing from past wounds, and connecting more deeply with God.
