Cummins has also been instrumental in funding to sponsor Boomin University and Boomin Marketing participants, as well as matching loans participants receive from microfinance company, Kiva. CDFIs play a pivotal role in supporting underserved communities by providing access to capital and resources that traditional financial institutions often overlook. Cummins recognizes the crucial role CDFIs play in economic development, particularly in diverse communities that often have barriers to capital and resources.
Building upon their existing partnership, Cummins and Boomin University are intensifying efforts to expand the capacity and reach of CDFIs.
