The independently-produced feature I Feel Fine has set Hewes Pictures as its sales agent launching sales in Berlin.
The coming-of-age drama stars Corin Nemec (Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, Stargate SG-1, and the upcoming Place of Bones), Braeden Sorbo (Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist), Jana Lee Hamblin (Seal Team, Terminal List), Nandi Summers (Rap Noir), Daniel Roebuck (The Fugitive, The Munsters), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, God’s Not Dead), Kevin Sorbo (Left Behind: Rise of the Anti-Christ, Soul Surfer) and introduces Elijah Passmore. The film was shot on-location in West Virginia late last year.
I Feel Fine was directed by husband & wife duo Austin & Hailey Spicer, based on their original screenplay. Producers of the film are former Universal Pictures executive John C. Hall and Pam Renall of Retinue Media, along with Doug Tschirhart.
The coming-of-age drama follows the story of Ozzy Taylor(Elijah Passmore), a charismatic high school teen, who discovers he can't control his intrusive thoughts, setting off a life-changing shift in his destiny.
“We aim to create a film so deeply personal and authentic that watching it is almost as if you're peeking into someone’s unfiltered life,” said husband & wife duo Austin & Hailey Spicer. “We are thrilled to be bringing this story to life as our debut feature.”
“Pam, Doug, and I are so humbled yet ecstatic that we were able to shoot this coming-of-age story with Austin and Hailey Spicer in the hills of West Virginia,” said producer John C. Hall. “The beauty there truly is ‘God’s Country,’ and we are excited that we are working with this amazing cast and team.”
“I Feel Fine is without question one of the best movies we have ever acquired,” said Princeton Holt of Hewes Pictures. “The excitement our team feels about the story, the performances, and the characters is unanimous, and we can't wait to get started with sales at EFM and Cannes.”
