MENtality Matters Hosts July Events to Support Veterans' Mental Health
MENtality Matters Hosts July Events to Support Veterans' Mental Health Nationwide - July 16, 2024 (USANews.com) - MENtality Matters, a charity dedicated to supporting men's mental health and honoring our veteran heroes, is excited to announce two major events in July 2024 aimed at raising funds and awareness for veteran retreats through the Warrior's Haven Retreat program. On Saturday, July 27, 2024, MENtality Matters, in partnership with Hydrogen Fitness, will host a fundraising event at Hydrogen Fitness in Scarsdale, New York. Participants will undertake a challenging goal to run, cycle, and cross-train 27.5 miles each. The public is invited to join and contribute to the team's efforts by taking on some of those miles. All funds raised will directly support the Warrior's Haven Retreat program, providing veterans with a safe and supportive environment for therapeutic activities and peer support. In addition to the fundraising event, MENtality Matters will offer an online coaching event on July 31, 2024, led by Coach Brendan. This workshop will focus on emotional control and making positive impressions in social interactions. The event is free and open to all men interested in improving their emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. For more information and to RSVP for the online coaching event, visit www.mentalitymatters.org/event.
