Bearhug Recruiting Places Amit Shrivastava as CPO to Lead ServiceUp’s Vehicle Repair Ecosystem Transformation

Sep 12, 2025

[San Francisco, CA – September 8, 2025] - (USAnews.com) — Bearhug Recruiting announced the placement of Amit Shrivastava as Chief Product Officer at ServiceUp, the category-defining platform transforming the $200B+ fleet and insurance repair industry.

Shrivastava, who previously served as the founding product leader at Twin Health, brings deep expertise in scaling AI-first platforms. At Twin, he helped grow the company from concept to a $1B+ valuation by building cross-functional teams and launching a healthcare platform that improved outcomes while scaling across the U.S. and India. Earlier roles at Castlight Health and Intel gave him extensive experience with mobile-first, AI-augmented platforms and global product leadership.

Brett Carlson, CEO of ServiceUp, said Shrivastava’s approach is already reshaping the team’s thinking: “Amit’s the kind of person who doesn’t flinch at messy problems. He digs in, sees the system, and builds for scale. That’s exactly what we need right now. He’s already raising the bar for all of us.”

In his new role, Shrivastava will oversee product, design, and engineering at ServiceUp, working closely with leadership to accelerate delivery, strengthen infrastructure, and scale adoption nationally. His mandate comes as ServiceUp expands toward $100M+ in revenue, backed by $55M in Series B funding and recognition as one of the top 100 fastest-growing startups in the U.S.

Kraig Ward, Founder & Managing Director of Bearhug Recruiting, said the appointment reflects both the company’s unique search methodology and ServiceUp’s critical growth stage: “The top 10% of executives never look for jobs—they’re poached first by the best headhunters. At Bearhug, we capture their attention when they’re ignoring everyone else. Unlike firms that recycle networks, we build every search from scratch, reviewing thousands of profiles to deliver leaders your competitors can’t reach. With a 95% completion rate, a zero-risk guarantee, and a strict focus on only three searches at a time, we give founders the white-glove partnership required to land game-changing talent. And because great talent is the ultimate moat, we don’t just fish for you—we teach you how to fish, equipping you with the playbooks to strengthen every future hire.”

Shrivastava shared his perspective on joining ServiceUp: “I’m thrilled to join at a time when this industry is ready for complete transformation. By leveraging AI, ServiceUp is uniquely positioned to set a new standard for visibility, efficiency, and intelligence in repair operations. I’m eager to partner with the team to build a platform that keeps the world’s commercial fleets moving.”
