Brothers Abraham Kesablyan and George Semerjyan expand Falcon Films’ portfolio as executive producers of Barracuda.

The brothers join the action thriller directed by Neil Burger and starring Anthony Mackie and Dafne Keen, marking a new milestone for Falcon Films.
Brothers Abraham Kesablyan and George Semerjyan have joined the upcoming action thriller Barracuda as executive producers through Falcon Films, alongside Jeffrey Kranzdorf, expanding the company’s involvement in feature film financing.
Their participation comes as the film moves through post-production, following principal photography in Las Cruces, New Mexico. For Falcon Films, the project represents an opportunity to build its presence in the industry alongside an established filmmaking team and internationally recognized cast.
Barracuda stars Anthony Mackie, known for his portrayal of Sam Wilson in Marvel’s Captain America and Avengers films, and Dafne Keen, whose credits include Logan and Deadpool & Wolverine. The supporting cast includes Steven Bauer, Anthony Del Negro, and Don Worley.
Neil Burger, the filmmaker behind Limitless, The Illusionist, and Divergent, directs from a screenplay by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes. Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis also serves as an executive producer.
The story follows Karl, a former smuggler played by Mackie, who rescues a kidnapped teenager, Jodie, played by Keen. After stealing a ruthless nightclub owner’s prized 1973 Plymouth Barracuda, the pair become the targets of a violent pursuit across the desert toward the U.S. border. The film combines a rescue story with car chases, escalating danger, and themes of survival and redemption.
The production brings together Highland Film Group, ImageMovers, K. Jam Media, 828 Productions, and R.U. Robot Studios. Highland handles worldwide sales and jointly represents U.S. sales with UTA Independent Film Group.
The project has already secured international distribution agreements. Amazon acquired rights across several major territories, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Additional regional sales have been announced across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Kesablyan and Semerjyan’s involvement adds a new feature film credit to their work through Falcon Films. Their executive producer roles on Barracuda mark a step in the company’s growth, connecting the brothers with a production that has already attracted international buyers and entertainment industry coverage.
Barracuda is currently in post-production. Further release details will be announced.
