NATIONWIDE - NOVEMBER 2025 - (USAnews.com) Heather Davenport’s life story is one of profound resilience, unyielding determination, and a powerful commitment to creating change for those who need it most. Recently crowned Mrs. USA International World 2025/2026, Davenport is using her title as a platform to raise awareness, advocate for survivors, and provide vital support to families escaping domestic violence. But her story is not just about winning a pageant; it’s about leveraging her personal journey to ignite real, lasting change for families in crisis.
Davenport is the founder of We Are Strong LLC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency resources, support, and hope to individuals, especially women, men, and children, facing domestic-safety challenges. Her commitment to this cause comes from her lived experiences as a survivor and a mother of five. She turned her pain into purpose, building an organization that delivers crucial assistance when it is needed most, and helping families escape dangerous and life-threatening situations.
“We Are Strong isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s a lifeline,” Davenport says. “Our mission is to ensure that no one facing domestic violence has to struggle alone. We provide emergency hotel stays, food, clothing, and other essential resources to families in crisis. We believe everyone deserves a second chance to live a life free of fear and violence.”
Davenport’s triumph in the pageant world, as Mrs. USA International World 2025/2026, is a significant milestone in her personal and professional journey. This title is not just a crown, it's a powerful tool to expand her nonprofit's reach and to amplify her advocacy. “The crown I wear represents much more than beauty or achievement, it’s a call to action. It gives me the visibility and platform I need to shed light on the crucial issue of domestic violence,” she shares.

Her win in the national competition is especially meaningful because it directly aligns with the heart of her work: empowering individuals, especially women and children, to break free from the cycle of abuse and rebuild their lives. Davenport’s platform is built on advocacy for domestic violence survivors, and she uses every opportunity, whether it’s a pageant appearance, an interview, or a social media post, to open doors for those who need support the most.
In March 2026, Davenport will take her mission to the international stage when she competes in Malaysia at the International World Pageant. “I’m honored to represent the United States and to take this important issue to a global audience,” Davenport says. “My goal is to not only compete but to use this platform to spark conversations and encourage action on a global scale. Domestic violence is a worldwide issue, and the more we talk about it, the closer we get to solutions.”
Davenport is not just a pageant winner; she is a passionate advocate for change, a leader in her community, and a beacon of hope for survivors of domestic violence. The funds raised through her pageant title and nonprofit work go toward expanding We Are Strong’s impact, ensuring that more families can access the life-saving services they need. She is actively raising funds to help scale the organization’s services, including emergency hotel accommodations, financial assistance, and long-term support for individuals who are rebuilding their lives after escaping abuse.
But Davenport’s mission doesn’t stop there. She is also seeking sponsors who align with her values and are committed to supporting both her advocacy efforts and her journey to Malaysia. “The sponsors we partner with are not just supporting a pageant contestant, they are investing in real change. We are working together to make sure that no survivor is turned away when they need help the most,” Davenport emphasizes.
Her nonprofit, We Are Strong LLC, has already made a tremendous difference in the lives of countless individuals, offering much-needed resources for families facing unimaginable challenges. Through emergency hotel stays, food provisions, clothing, and other essential services, the organization provides the immediate relief needed to help families escape domestic violence and start over. “It’s not just about the resources we offer; it’s about restoring dignity and hope to those who have suffered in silence,” Davenport explains.
For Davenport, helping others isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. “As a survivor myself, I know firsthand how it feels to be trapped in an abusive situation, with no way out. I’ve been there, and that’s why I am committed to helping others find a way to safety, rebuild their lives, and find the strength to move forward,” she says. “The crown I wear symbolizes that mission. It’s not about me, it’s about the lives we are saving and the change we are creating together.”
Davenport’s journey is a testament to the power of resilience, advocacy, and service. As she prepares to compete in the International World Pageant, her focus remains on the work she’s doing to help families escape domestic violence and start anew. “Winning this title is just the beginning. The real work happens when we use our platform to make a difference. Every day is an opportunity to give someone a new chance at life,” Davenport says.
