Hunt & Harbor Named Official Swimwear Partner For Mister USA 2026

A men's lifestyle brand built on southern grit and coastal style just made its biggest statement yet.

May 19, 2026

There is a moment in every founder's journey when a passion project stops being a side story and becomes the headline. For Keith Newport, Executive Vice President, Managing Partner, and the creative force behind Hunt & Harbor, that moment arrives on July 25, 2026, beneath the lights of the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas, when the Mister USA 2026 national competition takes the stage and every contestant steps into the water wearing his brand.

A Brand Built For The Man Who Does Both

Newport did not launch Hunt & Harbor because he needed a second act. He launched it because he saw a gap that no one else was filling. After more than thirty years building a distinguished career in healthcare staffing, he looked around the men's apparel market and found something missing: a brand that felt like home to a man who is equally comfortable on a southern back porch and a coastal resort deck. Rugged and refined. Relaxed but purposeful. Not one or the other. Both.

That observation became the founding philosophy of Hunt & Harbor, a men's swimwear and lifestyle brand co-founded with Charles Wooton and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Newport launched the brand at nearly fifty years old, not as a departure from his professional identity, but as proof that a man does not have to choose between the career he has built and the creative life he imagines. Hunt & Harbor is, in many ways, the living embodiment of that belief.

The Collection That Will Debut On The National Stage

The Mister USA x Hunt & Harbor 2026 collection is a fully co-branded, purpose-built line designed specifically for competition, with a public launch to follow the official July 25th debut.

The collection features two hero colorways across three silhouettes. The first is a sleek design with gold metallic detailing set against a deep, dark base: competition-ready presence with a resort-luxe aesthetic, bold without being loud, finished with black drawstring ties and matte gold aglet tips. The second is a striking navy, red, and white stars-and-stripes print, unmistakably American and designed to make a powerful national statement on stage, finished with navy blue drawstring ties and matte gold aglet tips.

Each colorway is offered in three silhouettes: a mid-length Board Short with performance construction and brief mesh liner; a Square Cut with a luxury Brazilian-inspired low-rise fit and compression; and a Lifeguard Brief with Euro-style athletic contour and supportive front construction. All styles are crafted from premium performance fabrics featuring four-way stretch, UPF 50+ sun protection, chlorine and salt resistance, and fast-dry construction, available in sizes XS through 3XL.

The collection extends beyond the water. Coordinating tank tops feature two custom original logos created exclusively for this collaboration: the Phoenix Crest, uniting both brand identities, and the Stag H&H Metal Plate. A Patriotic Camp Collar Shirt in the matching stars-and-stripes print rounds out the lineup, alongside Mister USA-inspired tees and tanks available to the public following the debut. Each contestant receives their competition collection in a custom gift box with a personalized interior message, an unboxing experience designed to honor the weight of the moment.

A Partnership Rooted In Shared Purpose

Mister USA is one of America's premier men's pageant organizations, led by CEO and President Jino Carnwath Cabrera. The annual competition crowns the man who will represent the United States at the prestigious Mister Universe international competition, celebrating culture, diversity, empowerment, and the development of transformational leaders. With nearly 500,000 Instagram followers, Cabrera has built one of the most inclusive and forward-thinking men's pageant platforms in the country.

Cabrera has spoken directly to the mission that drives the organization: "We are not just looking for physical attributes. We encourage everyone to strive to become the best version of themselves. In doing so, you become a role model and a transformational leader."

That mission aligns precisely with what Hunt & Harbor represents. The Mister USA organization confirmed the partnership with equal enthusiasm: "We are beyond excited about this partnership with Hunt & Harbor as the Official Swimwear Partner for Mister USA 2026. Big things are definitely coming, and we cannot wait to unveil what we have been working on together. This is going to be an incredible collaboration and a huge moment for both brands."

For Newport, the partnership carries personal weight. "I am incredibly grateful to Jino Cabrera and the entire Mister USA organization for their trust in Hunt & Harbor," he said. "To have this opportunity at this stage of the brand's journey means everything to us, and we are so excited to share it with the world."

Aspirational Without Being Out Of Reach

What makes Hunt & Harbor distinct is not just its aesthetic identity. It is the deliberate decision to make premium design accessible. The brand is built for men who show up fully in every aspect of their lives, and its pricing reflects the belief that quality and attainability are not opposites. That philosophy, paired with a genuine design identity rooted in southern heritage and coastal sensibility, is what separates Hunt & Harbor from every other brand competing for space in a man's wardrobe.

The Mister USA x Hunt & Harbor 2026 collection will launch publicly following the official competition debut on July 25, 2026, at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas. When it does, it will mark the moment a passion project stepped fully into the national spotlight, and proved that the man who does both can build something the whole country notices.
