For more than twenty years, Dr. Jessica Wood watched a quiet struggle unfold in her exam rooms. From Pediatrics to a Bigger Vision
Dr. Jessica Wood is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Point Pediatrics, a practice trusted by generations of Jersey Shore families.
Her journey began at Georgetown University, continued through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and led to her pediatric residency at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Throughout more than two decades in practice, she has been recognized as an NJ Top Kid Doc, an NJ Top Doc, and a Hulafrog Most Loved Pediatrician.
Yet awards tell only part of the story.
What has always distinguished Dr. Wood is her belief that emotional, behavioral, and developmental health are inseparable from physical health. I created Point Wellness Co. because I wanted families in our shore community to have another option—a physician-led team of experienced behavioral health specialists working together to provide compassionate, coordinated care. Our goal is to make the behavioral healthcare journey feel more connected, more personal, and a little less overwhelming."
