Inside a historic sixteenth century palace in Italy, young performers from around the world rehearse side by side with professional artists, faculty mentors, and creative leaders. Voices echo through centuries old halls. Musicians collaborate across disciplines. Dancers, actors, and vocalists train in an environment designed not only to sharpen technical ability, but to expand vision, confidence, and possibility.
This is the experience Ultimate International Performing Arts, known as UIPA, was created to deliver.
Founded by internationally trained soprano, educator, and artistic director Kenneithia Mitchell, UIPA has emerged as a growing international performing arts organization dedicated to helping aspiring artists gain access to opportunities often reserved for students with elite industry connections or significant financial resources.
Rather than functioning as a traditional arts intensive, UIPA combines conservatory level training, international cultural immersion, mentorship, and professional development into a global residency experience designed to prepare artists for the realities of today’s entertainment industry.
Recognition And Award
Ultimate International Performing Arts has recently been honored with a major industry distinction.
Best of Best Review proudly recognizes Ultimate International Performing Arts as the Best Youth Performing Arts Education Program in the United States of 2026. This distinction reflects an organization that is reshaping the landscape of arts education through a powerful blend of international immersion, elite training, and transformative mentorship. Ultimate International Performing Arts continues to stand as a forward-thinking force dedicated to elevating emerging performers onto a global stage.
Creating Opportunity Beyond The Classroom
At the heart of UIPA’s mission is a belief that artistic talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not.
“Talent is universal, but opportunity is not,” said Kenneithia Mitchell. “UIPA was created to help bridge that gap and give aspiring artists access to experiences that can truly change the trajectory of their lives.”
That philosophy has shaped every aspect of the organization’s programming.
Headquartered in the United States and operating internationally, UIPA offers immersive artist residencies, masterclasses, summer intensives, and professional development programs across multiple disciplines, including opera, musical theatre, acting, jazz, pop, dance, piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and interdisciplinary performance studies.
The organization’s flagship residency in Petritoli and the greater Ancona region of Italy has become a defining part of its growing identity. Students live, study, rehearse, and perform together inside an immersive artistic environment where cultural exchange becomes part of the educational process itself.
For many participants, the experience extends far beyond technical instruction.
“When students step into an international environment surrounded by excellence, culture, mentorship, and creativity, they begin to see themselves differently,” Mitchell explained. “That transformation is at the heart of UIPA.”

Redefining International Arts Training
While many performing arts programs focus primarily on classroom instruction, UIPA emphasizes artistic immersion and real world preparation.
Students work directly with Broadway artists, university professors, vocal specialists, casting professionals, directors, and entertainment industry mentors through private coaching, mock auditions, workshops, masterclasses, and collaborative performances.
The organization’s interdisciplinary structure also reflects the evolving demands of the modern entertainment industry, where versatility and cross disciplinary collaboration have become increasingly valuable.
Rather than separating artists into isolated categories, UIPA encourages collaboration across multiple forms of performance and storytelling. This approach helps students develop adaptability, confidence, and a broader understanding of the professional creative landscape.
“We are building more than a summer program,” Mitchell said. “We are building a global artistic community where young performers can train, collaborate, and discover what is possible for their future.”
A Mission Rooted In Access And Representation
UIPA’s mission also includes a strong commitment to accessibility, representation, and opportunity for underserved artists.
As a minority and female led nonprofit organization, UIPA actively works to provide scholarships, sponsorship initiatives, and donor supported opportunities that allow talented students from diverse backgrounds to participate in international arts experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
This focus on inclusion has become one of the organization’s defining qualities.
By partnering with schools, arts organizations, sponsors, educators, and industry professionals, UIPA continues building pathways for emerging artists pursuing careers in theatre, television, opera, commercial music, film, and live performance.
The organization believes arts education can shape far more than artistic skill alone.
“Our goal is not only to develop stronger performers, but stronger leaders, storytellers, and visionaries who will shape the future of the arts,” Mitchell said.

Building A Global Artistic Community
As UIPA continues expanding its international programming, the organization remains focused on cultivating long term artistic development rather than short term performance experiences alone.
Future plans include expanded global residency programs, year round educational initiatives, artist exchange opportunities, and increased partnerships with educational institutions and arts organizations across multiple countries.
The organization also continues investing in mentorship, entrepreneurship education, and professional preparation to help artists navigate the realities of sustainable creative careers.
For UIPA, the mission extends beyond training performers. The organization aims to build a lasting international artistic community centered on mentorship, collaboration, cultural exchange, and transformative opportunity.
“The arts have the power to connect cultures, elevate voices, and transform communities,” Mitchell said. “UIPA exists to ensure the next generation of artists has access to that power on an international scale.”
As the organization enters its next phase of growth, UIPA continues positioning itself as a forward thinking leader in international arts education, one focused on helping emerging artists dream bigger, train at a higher level, and step confidently onto the global stage.
