Savage OPS Relocating to New Headquarters
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BEGINS TO REBUILD HOMES FOR WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA RESIDENTS

Savage Ops, under the leadership of local business owner and leadership expert Adam Smith—a former Green Beret—has been actively assisting residents in Western North Carolina since September 28th. They are providing vital supplies and rescue efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the most deadly and destructive storm to hit the United States since Hurricane Katrina.

In the next two weeks, Savage Ops will relocate to a new temporary headquarters just a few miles from their original operations center at Harley-Davidson of Asheville. Additionally, they will intensify their efforts to provide temporary housing and rebuild homes throughout Western North Carolina.

Many volunteers and residents on the ground have identified multiple issues with permitting, zoning, and building codes that are obstructing the ability of local residents to rebuild. State Senator, Tim Moffitt, who’s been on the ground in the most devastated areas of WNC, has engaged Adam in supporting the effort to create a legislative path to overcome these issues and help WNC recover more quickly.

Amidst the focus on election coverage, we remain committed to keeping the needs of Western North Carolina residents front and center. Savage Ops is dedicated to bridging the gap between government assistance and community needs. Their mission is to stay on the ground until their services are no longer necessary, ensuring that residents receive the support they need before the cold winter arrives.

About Savage Freedoms

As primarily a group of special operations veterans, from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines, who are no longer overseas but instead in Western North Carolina protecting American lives at home. Engaged in humanitarian relief operations, these talented individuals have come together with other private organizations, both businesses and nonprofits, community leaders, churches, local, state, and federal government groups, including National Guard, Air Guard, and military units. This collaboration is able to be nimble and respond to needs as they arise on any scale. From one family living in a tent trying not to freeze all the way to entire towns, they are meeting every need to keep people alive with hope for another day.
