The 5280 Mermaid: Bringing Joy to Cancer Families Through Artisanal Goods

Colorado - July 28, 2024 (USANews.com) - based small business, The 5280 Mermaid, is making waves with their unique collection of artisanal goods designed to bring joy and flavor to everyday life. Founded by Sarah Clarke Kleinhans and her children, Madelene and Addison, The 5280 Mermaid offers a variety of products including Beverage Infusion Kits, Travel Candles, Soup Kits, Colorado Gift Boxes, and Dip Mixes, all made with locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to sustainability.

A Story of Resilience and Community Support

The company's origin story is one of resilience and community support. Sarah’s experience as a caregiver to her son Addison, who was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age, inspired her to give back to cancer families in need. What started as a way to support others during difficult times has blossomed into a successful business that continues to make a positive impact.

Innovating During the Pandemic

During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, The 5280 Mermaid found a new opportunity to connect with customers through their Beverage Infusion Kits. These kits, which can be used to create cocktails and mocktails, are not only convenient and affordable but also help reduce food waste by using misfit fruit that are dehydrated and packaged in cloth pouches.

More Than Just a Business

The 5280 Mermaid is more than just a business - it’s a symbol of hope and resilience. From caregiving to crafting, Sarah and her children have turned adversity into an opportunity to spread joy and support to others. Their mission to bring laughter and memorable experiences to their customers sets them apart in the artisanal goods market.
