FlowZed Turns English Silk Into One-of-One Art

A Dubai-based house crafts singular silk jackets in London, where every design exists only once.

A House Built on the Very Best

There is a moment Omar Peracha, founder of FlowZed, thinks about constantly: the feeling of putting on one of his jackets for the very first time. Beyond the beauty of the design, or the idea of owning something rare. The sensation itself; silk against the skin, color that seems to hold light, and a garment that belongs to one person and no one else.

That moment symbolizes FlowZed’s dedication to collector experience. As Peracha explains, “We draw a parallel with fine cars: yes, it’s beautiful and striking to witness one, but the real experience is reserved for the person inside it.”

While many luxury houses quietly reduce material quality or mask offshore production behind misleading origin claims, FlowZed has committed to a single principle: the very best, without compromise. Founded in 2024 by Omar Peracha, the house creates one-of-one silk jackets that sit somewhere between high fashion and collectible art.

Every piece from the inaugural collection, The Merkle Tree, is hand-assembled in FlowZed's London workshop. The craftspeople who build these jackets know only the highest standard of their profession. They work with the deliberation of true craftsmanship over industrial production. Every piece receives the time and care needed to produce a true handmade silk masterpiece: typically 10-12 weeks.

The material proposition alone sets the house apart. Each jacket is cut entirely from bridal-weight English silk, both the exterior and the lining, so the experience is as refined for the wearer as it is for the observer. The ribbing at the cuffs and hem is pure English merino wool. Dozens of silks were tested for weight, touch, movement, and color before the final cloth was chosen. The result is a fabric that stays exceptionally smooth while presenting intricate artwork in radiant color.

One of One, From First Seed to Final Stitch

No two FlowZed jackets are ever the same. Once a design has been used for one piece, it will never appear on another.

The Merkle Tree comprises 5,050 individual designs. Each of those designs is reserved for a single piece and will not be repeated. The tree artwork, the coded visual details, the lining pattern, and the identity markers are all unique to that one garment.

Inside the lining, the house monogram is tiled and interleaved with the piece's own ID number at intervals that differ for every jacket. It is a subtle mark, hidden when the garment is worn, yet it reflects an attention to detail that goes far beyond the visible. These same details are mirrored in a digital certificate of authenticity, which displays the exact design the collector receives in physical form. The certificate proves, with computed certainty, that the piece is truly one of one.

For collectors who want to shape the work themselves, FlowZed offers two routes. Through the Atelier service, a client can personalize an existing one-of-one design while retaining its singular uniqueness. For those who want something entirely their own, the house creates fully bespoke artwork, a deeply personal commission made entirely for you from the bottom up.

Rigorous Artisanship You Can Feel

A one-of-one piece should not simply look unique. It should feel unmistakable the moment it is worn.

This belief drives every decision at FlowZed. The silk was chosen for more than appearance alone. It was selected for how it moves, how it rests against the body, and how it carries color. The process is meticulous by necessity, because the final test is more than just what the eye sees in a photograph. It is what the wearer feels when the jacket settles onto their shoulders every time they wear it.

Advanced dyeing technology allows the artwork to appear in vivid, radiant color without compromising the silk's smooth finish. Intricate compositions that would overwhelm a lesser cloth instead come alive, bright and precise, on fabric that remains soft to the touch. This is the heart of the FlowZed proposition: opulent material and complex art, held together without either giving way.

Technology in Service of Craft

FlowZed treats physical craft and technological invention as one continuous creative process. They use proprietary software to help compose a unique picture for each jacket, adapting the digital canvas to the exact silhouette of the garment. Every parameter is tuned by hand to match the house's exacting artisanal taste.

Before any design reaches silk, it is previewed and checked manually by FlowZed’s artisans in 3D through in-house tools. Only when the composition meets the standard does production begin. To render digital creations into physical objects, FlowZed built a software pipeline connected to state-of-the-art silk coloring hardware, enabling true one-of-one production for each collector without any loss of precision. The result is not simply designed in-house. It is made possible by the instruments the house invented.

The Founder Behind Artes Futuri

Omar Peracha's path is unusually broad. He holds a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of York and an MSc in Nanotechnology from the University of Oxford. Over the past decade he has worked across Silicon Valley and Switzerland, serving as chief technology officer of venture-backed technology companies and contributing to research at the frontier of machine learning. His work spans award-winning contemporary music and interactive media as well as advanced modeling systems for music and biological structures.

FlowZed represents the convergence of all these disciplines. Peracha founded the house to explore what becomes possible when craftsmanship, artistic expression, and cutting-edge technology are developed together as one practice. He calls this discipline Artes Futuri, the art of making what could not exist before.

The objective, for Peracha, is simple: he wants to create that which is only possible today, because the methods to make it did not previously exist. The outcome is a new category of collectible object: one-of-one silk artworks whose uniqueness, provenance, and ownership can be preserved with a degree of certainty rarely seen in the physical world.
