NASM-Certified Trainer Robert Renaud Turns 185 Exercises, Six Progressive Stages, and Late Night Debugging Sessions Into a Fitness Coach That Fits in Your Pocket
DALLAS, TEXAS - July 8, 2026 - RR Health + Fitness today announced the launch of Badonka Boost™, a free, comprehensive full-body and core training app designed to eliminate the guesswork, plateaus, and abandoned New Year's resolutions that plague most fitness routines. Built by NASM Certified Personal Trainer and RR Health + Fitness founder Robert Renaud, Badonka Boost delivers a structured, science-backed recurring 12-week training system that adapts to each user's goals, equipment, and schedule with no gym membership required.
"Plateaus are for people without a plan," said Renaud. "Most fitness apps hand you a random workout and call it a day. Badonka Boost gives you a system: one that thinks the way a good personal trainer thinks.”
BUILT ON THE JACKED ASS METHOD
At the core of Badonka Boost is the Jacked Ass Method, a structured training system built from a library of 185 exercises spanning seven movement categories: Activation, Squat Pattern, Hinge Pattern, Lunge Pattern, Hip Extension, Abduction, and Core Stability. Every workout follows a rotating Day Template so users never repeat the same session back-to-back, and the entire program is organized into six progressive stages across a 12-week cycle:
Stages 1-2: Base & Endurance - learning the movements and building the habit
Stages 3-4: Strength & Volume - increasing load and intensity
Stages 5-6: Peak & Performance - advanced training and maximum adaptation
After 12 weeks, the program loops back with increased mastery, keeping users progressing instead of plateauing.
TWELVE FEATURES, ONE GOAL: CONSISTENCY
Badonka Boost was engineered around a single guiding question Renaud kept returning to during development: how do you remove friction so people actually stick with it? The result is an app that includes personalized onboarding, live workout tracking, AI-assisted exercise modifications, weekly performance check-ins, recovery scoring, protein tracking, progress photos and measurements, a searchable exercise library, and an on-demand virtual coaching chat grounded in the user's own program data.
The app also automates two of the biggest friction points in any workout: recording sets and staying on schedule. Voice commands let users log weight and reps hands-free mid-set, and haptic notifications tap the wrist when it's time to rest so nobody has to pause their playlist to check a rest timer.
Badonka Boost works with whatever equipment a user already has: bodyweight only, Badonka Bands, RR H+F® Resistance Bands, dumbbells, the Jacked Ass Belt, or a simple step or bench. No gym required.
A DEVELOPMENT STORY
Badonka Boost wasn't assembled from a template. Renaud personally built out the app's anatomical exercise diagrams as hand-coded SVG files which is a process that turned into an unexpected crash course in software development and anatomy. Distinguishing a trapezius from a rhomboid is straightforward on a real body; it's another matter entirely in a flat, two-dimensional drawing where the rhomboids sit on a layer beneath the trapezius. Getting the app to correctly identify primary versus secondary muscles activated during each of the 185 exercises meant going in and hand-coding the muscle order exercise by exercise, often deep into the early morning hours.
That same obsession with getting details right shaped the rest of the build. Renaud's development philosophy kept circling back to one word: simplification. Rather than asking users to stop and manually log every set, he built in voice-activated logging. Rather than making users watch a clock during rest periods, he added haptic cues that work even while music is playing. Every feature added to Badonka Boost had to answer the same question: does this reduce friction, or add to it?
FREE ACCESS FOR THE JACKED ASS CLUB
Badonka Boost is free to use, and Jacked Ass Club members get full access to the app as part of their membership with no separate subscription required. The app is designed to support all genders and fitness levels, accommodating anywhere from one to seven training days per week, making it realistic for busy schedules and dedicated athletes alike.
"This isn't just a workout tracker," Renaud said. "It's a complete transformation system with progression, coaching, recovery science, and nutrition support, all working together so people stop guessing and start seeing results."
