Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry further cemented his place in NFL history on November 3, 2024, as he recorded his 100th career rushing touchdown in a 24-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The milestone, achieved in the third quarter on a six-yard run, makes Henry just the 12th player in league history to reach 100 rushing scores.
Henry, who has been the face of Tennessee’s offense since being drafted in 2016, delivered another vintage performance. He finished the game with 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns, once again showcasing his signature blend of power, speed, and durability. His milestone run came in the red zone, where he bulldozed through two Steelers defenders before crossing the goal line—an image that has become all too familiar to opposing teams.
The achievement places Henry in elite company, joining a list that includes NFL greats such as Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, and LaDainian Tomlinson. His ability to sustain success over nearly a decade in a league known for the short lifespan of running backs highlights his remarkable consistency and physical dominance.
Speaking after the game, Henry reflected on the historic moment. “It’s humbling to be mentioned with some of the greatest backs to ever play this game,” he said. “I’ve been blessed with incredible teammates and coaches who have helped me get here, and I’m grateful for every opportunity I get to go out there and compete.”
With this victory, the Titans improved to 6-3 and strengthened their push for a playoff spot in a competitive AFC race. As Henry continues to climb the all-time rushing touchdown leaderboard, his performance remains the key to Tennessee’s offensive success.
The Titans will next face the Baltimore Ravens in a crucial conference matchup, with Henry looking to add to his growing legacy as one of the most dominant rushers of his generation.
