International Schooling Marks Inaugural Graduation Ceremony 2025

On July 26, 2025, a historic milestone in global school education was achieved when International Schooling (IS), a fully accredited K–12 American online school,hosted its first-ever official Graduation Ceremony 2025 at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai. The event symbolized more than just academic achievement; it marked the successful fusion of a global education system with the personal touch of a real-world reunion, all without the need for traditional school walls.

For many of the 238 graduates from over 45 countries, this moment was an emotional blend of pride, nostalgia, and excitement. With 62 graduates, accompanied by over 180 proud family members, attending the ceremony in person, it was an opportunity to connect beyond the confines of digital screens and virtual classrooms. It was the first time that many students and their families had the chance to meet face-to-face with peers, mentors, and teachers, transforming the flourishing online school community at International Schooling into one that is now connected in the traditional sense. 

A Moment of Global Unity and Achievement

The ceremony kicked off with a warm and heartfelt welcome from Head of School Dr. Rob Leveillee, who emphasized the importance of global unity and resilience. He was joined by Executive Principal Dr. Jenni Kincaid and Associate Director Mr. Alwin, who further highlighted how this graduation was not just a celebration of academic excellence but also the power of education to bring people together, regardless of their location or background.

In one particularly poignant moment, a graduate, overwhelmed by the significance of the ceremony, embraced Dr. Rob, sharing: “I have loved International Schooling, but I never dreamed of having an actual graduation but here we are at MY graduation!” This simple yet powerful moment encapsulated the essence of International Schooling's mission of providing world-class education without borders, bringing dreams to life in unexpected ways.

Honoring Excellence

The evening was also a celebration of excellence on both the student and faculty sides. Among the honored students were Valedictorian Tala Wehbi and Salutatorian Nicolae Sula, whose heartfelt speeches inspired their peers to continue chasing their dreams and embracing the possibilities that lay ahead. These two students stood as representatives of the resilience, passion, and innovation that are common themes across all classes in this school. 

In addition to recognizing the achievements of students, International Schooling conferred awards of appreciation on 10 of its best-performing teachers who flew from 10 different countries, a true testament of the school’s ethos centered on inclusivity and diversity. Special Recognition Awards were also given to individuals from the Administrative Office, who have gone above and beyond the expectations from their respective roles. Among the recipients were Mr. Alwin, Associate Director, Ms. Pooja, Head of Counseling, and Ms. Samara, Teacher Coordinator. Their dedication and commitment to shaping the futures of students across the globe were celebrated in a moving tribute. As a first-of-its-kind gesture for any school during such a ceremony, the school surprisingly awarded Certificates of Appreciation to parents of all the graduates, appreciating their roles in their children’s educational journey. It was an emotional moment for all the parents, who were moved to tears, with such formal acknowledgement of their efforts and with their children’s dreams achieving fruition.

As Dr. Jenni Kincaid shared during her speech, “Today, we celebrate the beautiful truth that dreams don’t recognize borders.” This sentiment resonated deeply with the students and families in attendance, encapsulating the core philosophy behind International Schooling, education without limits, where no boundary can stifle a student’s potential.

Mr. Paul Montague, Executive Director at IS, echoed the emotional atmosphere of the evening: “The emotion, pride, joy, and incredible student stories of success made this an unforgettable night.” It was a celebration not only of academic accomplishments but also of personal journeys, global connections, and the endless possibilities that the future holds for these graduates.
