While studying full-time at university, Bashar worked part-time managing social media ads to fund his education. Every penny earned from running Meta and Instagram ads went directly into supporting his engineering degree. But over time, he started to realize that while engineering was draining his finances, digital marketing was offering something far more valuable: opportunity.
One moment, as he balanced equations and algorithms in his textbooks, Bashar had an epiphany: he needed to follow the path where his heart and future truly aligned. This realization was a turning point that would lead him to step away from engineering and dive headfirst into the world of digital marketing.

Bashar's decision to pivot his career from engineering to digital marketing wasn’t a small one. But it was a necessary one. The more he invested in learning marketing through university courses, specialized digital marketing training, internships, and real-world campaigns, the more his skills sharpened.
In his early days as a freelancer, Bashar managed social media accounts and ran ads for more than 35 clients, gaining practical, hands-on experience in digital marketing. He mastered platforms like Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google Ads, learning the ropes of SEO, analytics, content creation, and community management.
With each success, Bashar’s confidence grew, and so did his client base. As his career progressed, he began securing full-time roles that further honed his abilities. His positions as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Tecomsa and other companies helped him solidify his expertise in B2B and B2C marketing, eventually leading to leadership roles in the telecom and technology sectors.

A Visionary in Telecom & Technology Marketing
Bashar’s career truly began to take flight when he joined Antwerp Technologies as a Digital Marketing Manager. Here, he was responsible for overseeing digital marketing initiatives, branding, events, and market research for a growing company. His next big move came when he became Senior Marketing Manager at BLUE.AI, a company under Antwerp Technologies. In this role, he expanded his expertise in high-scale campaign execution and enterprise-level marketing, building systems for telecom and SaaS products and growing the company’s brand presence in over 15 countries.
These roles exposed Bashar to the complexities of marketing in the enterprise technology sector. Managing marketing for global products, especially in the competitive world of telecom and CPaaS, added layers to his strategic and tactical knowledge, cementing his place as a well-rounded marketing leader.

However, it wasn’t enough for Bashar to simply excel in marketing. As his career flourished, so did his passion for teaching. Over the years, he shared his knowledge with over 2,000 students as a Digital Marketing Instructor at universities like CNAM University.
