Three Ducati, Three Perspectives — What Dressage Rider and Entrepreneur Silvia Rizzo Learned from the Multistrada V2S, the XDiavel V4 and the Panigale V2

Silvia Rizzo explores three distinct Ducati motorcycles, uncovering lessons in performance, design, and precision.

NATIONWIDE - NOVEMBER 2025 - (USAnews.com) There are motorcycles you ride, and there are motorcycles you experience.

The Multistrada V2S, the XDiavel V4, and the Panigale V2 belong to three completely different worlds inside the Ducati universe and in the last few months, Silvia Rizzo had the privilege of exploring each of them closely, through performance, design, movement, photography, and real travel.

“I didn’t approach these three models in the same way,” she explains,“and I quickly understood that I wasn’t supposed to.”

Each Ducati reveals itself differently.

Sometimes through the handlebars.
Sometimes through the landscape.
Sometimes simply through the geometry of a silhouette that says everything without moving.

Multistrada V2S — Dinant, Belgium

Where versatility meets elegance in motion

“I experienced the Multistrada V2S near Dinant,” Rizzo says, “in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, a region considered one of Europe’s most scenic playgrounds for motorcyclists.”

Here the roads do not forgive distraction: they rise, fall, open, close, twist around rock walls, and then suddenly reveal wide green valleys. The asphalt is clean, the flow is continuous, and the landscape feels like it was designed to test a rider’s perception.

In this environment, the Multistrada showed its true nature: a balance between stability and responsiveness, between long-distance comfort and controlled dynamism.

She noticed how the suspension worked in harmony with the terrain, never intrusive, never passive. The bike read the road with intelligence, offering confidence even in the most unpredictable parts of the route.

“This is where I understood the essence of the Multistrada family,” she adds.
“A machine that adapts, listens, anticipates.”

XDiavel V4 — Daun, Germany

Power, design, and intention in one silhouette

Her experience with the XDiavel V4 unfolded across one of the most iconic motorcycling areas in Europe: the Eifel National Park, near Daun, Germany.

The Eifel is famous for its rhythm flowing curves, fast transitions, long open stretches, and uninterrupted changes of elevation. It’s a landscape where a rider can truly understand a motorcycle’s personality.

“On these roads, the XDiavel V4 felt like a sculpture brought to life,” she recalls.
“Its presence is undeniable but what surprised me wasn’t the power. It was the refinement.”

The torque is strong but never aggressive.
The acceleration is immediate but beautifully controlled.
It’s a motorcycle that doesn’t shout, it speaks with authority.

And here, the hand of Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati’s Director of Design, becomes tangible. The intentionality of the lines, the proportions, the sculptural quality of the silhouette you can feel that this motorcycle was created with both performance and emotional impact in mind.

“Experiencing the XDiavel in the Eifel,” she says, “was like seeing a design philosophy expressed through movement.”

Panigale V2 — The art of precision

A motorcycle that reveals its purpose even before the engine starts.

The Panigale V2 belongs to a different dimension focused, uncompromising, perfectly distilled.

“Some Ducati do not need to be ridden to communicate their intention,” Rizzo explains.

During the work done with this model photography, preparation, observation of its geometry
she realised how much the Panigale V2 expresses through visual language alone.

The compact structure, the aerodynamic intent, the sharp symmetry, the unmistakable “no-distraction” attitude: Everything speaks of precision.

“Even when stationary,” she adds, “the Panigale behaves like a machine that knows exactly what it was built for. It doesn’t soften edges. It doesn’t negotiate.”

Studying it up close taught her that precision is not only a technical concept. Sometimes, it’s a presence.

What these three Ducati taught her

Experiencing these three models each in a different context, each with a different personality offered Silvia something unexpected:
a complete understanding of how Ducati designs emotion into performance.

The Multistrada taught her fluidity and balance.
The XDiavel taught her intentional power.
The Panigale taught her precision.

Together, they form a kind of trilogy:

Motion. Design. Purpose.

And what she found in this journey is not just how Ducati builds motorcycles, but how Ducati builds experiences.

Thanks to those who made this journey possible

This exploration of the Ducati universe was possible thanks to:

 – Ducati Netherlands
Leo Fleuren, owner of Affetto Ducati
– the Ducati community that supported every project and every moment

Their professionalism and openness turned this journey into something more than a collaboration. It became a way to understand the deeper identity of the brand.

Looking ahead — 2026 and beyond

“I’m ready for the 2026 models,” Silvia concludes.
“And I know exactly what I’m looking for now.”
