A Black Friday Rooted in Access, Not Excess

As a child, she remembers waking up at 5:00 a.m., bundling up, and standing outside Best Buy with her family so they could afford items that were otherwise out of reach. When Truth Rose Trends Took Shape

Truth Rose Trends began forming in late October during a period of overlapping national and personal strain. In the fall of 2025, the United States entered the longest federal government shutdown in its history, beginning on October 1 and lasting 43 days as budget negotiations stalled and federal operations slowed or ceased. Public assistance systems were disrupted, with food benefits delayed or temporarily frozen for many households and essential services operating under uncertainty.

At the same time, broader economic pressure was increasingly visible at the household level. Across the country, tenants were falling behind on rent, juggling delayed income, rising costs, and unstable support systems. For many families, the margin between stability and crisis narrowed rapidly.

As a landlord, Tameer witnessed these pressures firsthand. Rather than enforcing rigid collection practices during an already fragile period, she proactively allowed her tenants to split rent payments between the beginning and end of the month to reduce immediate burden. The approach prioritized dignity and relationship preservation over short-term enforcement.

That moment clarified something fundamental: income models that rely on pressure, urgency, or moral leverage become most damaging precisely when people are least able to absorb them. The experience reinforced a long-term conviction: economic resilience is built not by extracting more during instability, but by designing systems that can sustain both people and principles when conditions tighten.

Truth Rose Trends emerged from that recognition, designed intentionally as a passive, values-aligned business model capable of generating revenue ethically and truthfully, without compromising relationships or values, even amid systemic instability.

Building After Loss and Transition

While Tameer had prior experience in e-commerce, Truth Rose Trends marked the first venture to scale meaningfully. Its launch followed significant life transitions, including the loss of her senior puggle, Rosie. Losing a beloved companion brought Tameer to a place of deep reflection about the nature of relationships and what it means to care for someone unconditionally.

In the wake of this loss, Tameer began advocating for what she calls “Rosie’s Truth”, an effort to raise awareness about the deep emotional bonds between humans and their pets, and to champion more compassionate standards for companion-animal care and custody.

Truth Rose Trends became a way to carry forward this personal philosophy, and more broadly, to make truth itself a trend. The brand was built on the observation that many people go silent or turn away when faced with truth, often shaping lives around expectation rather than authenticity. Truth Rose Trends offers a deliberately expansive product ecosystem. Digital downloads focused on confidence-building, stress relief, conflict management, and self-development anchor the brand, reflecting Tameer’s background in psychology and commitment to practical growth tools.

Beyond digital offerings, the storefront spans an A–Z assortment of physical products, including astronomy- and astrology-inspired items, high-end furniture, luxury and designer-inspired goods, as well as playful, childlike, and unconventional finds.

The absence of a singular theme is intentional. Just as individuals contain multitudes, the storefront allows contrast to coexist. When visitors believe they have identified the store’s “theme,” they often encounter products that appear entirely unrelated, reflecting the reality that truth is not singular and that alignment does not require uniformity.

As a light internal quality check, Tameer recently purchased a tarot deck directly from her own store. It met standards: solid, well-made, and according to her card pull, "did not predict operational chaos."

A Balancing Act: Cats and Dogs

Truth Rose Trends was founded by Tameer with the intention of remaining largely hands-off. “I wasn’t interested in trading more of my time for money or placing additional pressure on my tenants,” she explains. “I wanted to build something that could generate consistent monthly income while allowing for stable, persistent growth, which is exactly what we’ve seen over the past 50 days. My tenants never failed to pay rent; payments were occasionally late, not absent. While I continue to honor time boundaries with my tenants as best as possible, I refuse to compromise my morals and values in the process, especially during a challenging economic season like this.”

The brand’s success is primarily supported by a collaborative team known for alignment, data literacy, and an enduring obsession with cats, a fitting counterbalance to a company named after a beloved dog.

Internally, the dynamic has become something of a metaphor: intuition balanced with analysis, independence balanced with loyalty. The balance has repeatedly proven effective, reinforcing trust and confidence in unconventional decisions.

An Ethos Moving Forward

Truth Rose Trends officially launched just one month before the Black Friday–Cyber Monday shopping frenzy after months of preparation and several earlier ecommerce attempts in previous years that did not scale. The store has sustained performance for over seven weeks since entering the market, with its strongest momentum occurring during the Black Friday–Cyber Monday period, validating both timing and operational intention.

To date, the company has generated over $10K in gross commission and about $8.5K in net commission after expenses and profit-sharing with the team. These results have enabled Tameer to reinvest strategically, continuing paid advertising with conversion-focused discipline aimed at maintaining a return on ad spend exceeding 400 percent, allocating approximately 25 percent of net proceeds to reserves to protect the storefront against risk and volatility, and meeting tax obligations responsibly.

The remaining income has provided sufficient stability to meet mortgage payments in a timely manner moving forward, without transferring additional pressure onto her tenants.

For Tameer, however, the numbers remain secondary to the mission. The focus continues to be on building something durable, truthful, and culturally relevant, shaped by lived realities and what people genuinely choose when no one is looking, rather than curated narratives about what should sell simply because others have it.
